Angels
Angels are the only beings composed only of pure Soul.
They are the inhabitants of the floating lands. They want to keep their purity and not mix with other living beings. Their natural enemy are demons. An angel can become a demon and a demon can become an angel.
Angels, are perceived by humans only in the Bible: a kind of personification of the Soul. For them they do not exist, are divine projections or myths, illusions, madness of some degenerates.
Angels do not know men or the earth.
In reality, the angels are a very conservative, very wise people, who are confined to their lands.
Description :
They are Soul-born beings. Over the course of evolution, they turned to humans, by mimicry, for a question of survival and out of curiosity, the human being the most intelligent and is at the top of the food chain. Then, having gained consciousness, they migrated to their present lands.
They did, however, mirror certain aspects of other species. This is how the angels, confined in their flying archipelago, took on the characteristics of the rare birds that ventured over the centuries.
The angel is mostly white or in cream tones. Their hair is fluffy like the feathers of a baby bird.
Their eyes have a wide choice of color (turquoise, purple, green), they have great vision. They only ever have two eyes, there are bound to be more than two, which can be placed outside the face.
Wings can appear on their lower back, even if they are unusable. Feathers may appear randomly on their bodies.
Their skin is very fragile, they move little, but are very comfortable in the water! They get hurt very easily, cover up a lot.
They need interaction with other people, if only with each other, in which case, over the years, they become like robots, their bodies become slightly shapeless, transparent, emotionless, not moving, not speaking, lifeless, as is the case with the noble angelic rulers. They gradually return to the state of Soul flow.
Ideology:
Their ideology is not to mix with other living beings, to keep their purity. A fear of the other, a fear also of being infected and of no longer being pure. Magic is forbidden here.
That's how they don't experience seeing little feeling, which can create flows or use powers. You are frowned upon if you laugh too hard. You can be imprisoned or killed/expelled if you express yourself too loudly or otherwise for the rare cases. This is one of the reasons why keeping their purity is inked in them over generations.

Food :
Angels are generally vegetarians. They avoid animals, which are very rare anyway.
To survive, they cultivate living beings (fruit trees, plants) and purify water (water contains a lot of bio-organisms).
They transform all their food, for fear of raw, living food. They are real little cooks: everything is either dried in the sun, in salt, or steamed, grilled, transformed into puree, jam, etc.
Spices are very common there. (they live on the resources of the mountains, lands that regenerate thanks to ambient magic)
Others go down to fish in the ocean. They are rare, paid very expensive because of the dangerousness of the environment. It is the wealthiest who can afford this kind of service.
Indeed, the ocean is an unknown environment for them, you have to be experienced.
The fishermen work in pairs: one for the fish and one for protection against demons or the like.
Community :
Their society works as for humans.
They have their own currency and are governed by a council. This is located on the highest of the islands.
The higher you live, the better you are perceived and the better your life will be.
Angels are very family-oriented, there is no head of family, everything is decided together, children and adults included.
The discrimination is great between them, the paler you are the better you are perceived. The goal is to look like the nobles recluse in their home.
Habitat :
Angels are troglodytes, they live in dwellings carved into the rock. Their sky being always cloudy, their lack of melanin is due to the lack of sun.
Their lands float thanks to the strong magnetism and the strong flows of magic they have within them. These flows are so present everywhere that they are not visible unless you leave the area, seen from the outside you can notice the difference. These flows are preserved, maintained by a few powerful angels.
They live between two seas of clouds.
They are often bothered by demons, for them they are divine monsters.

Demons are the only beings composed of Anti-Soul.
Humans know demons better, because compared to angels, they manifest. It is not uncommon to come across them.
They are hunted, used and hated by men.
They are wild, solitary, bloodthirsty and childish.
Description :
Physically angels and demons are alike, long-lived, tall, thin, white-haired. Some differences all the same, the demons have normal looking hair (like the soft down of angels) and have a dark part in their hair: which proves their impurity, but the presence of white is synonymous with magic and the non-human.
For their part, the demons are of great diversity depending on their habitat, most are reclusive towards the mountains, hence the aspects of goats, chamois, ibexes (horns, hair, legs etc.) to better adapt to their environment.
Community :
Demons have no school, little education, the term family is rarely known, they are very wild and fully express their emotions and thoughts.
The demons, strangely, have all the same a hierarchy, on that of the strongest, or which shows the most its force (massacre in mass of humans for example or kill some angels).
They are less numerous than the angels, do not live in a community or only in a small family, they are rather solitary and operate in a territorial area on the continent. They hardly like each other, fights between them are frequent. It's rare to see two demons talking together.
The strongest (king) rules the islands of the Southern Ocean (no human has discovered these places) so he can "play" with the angels above.
They have no currency, no profession, they do not interact with each other. They survive separately as they can, by imitating and living near humans for example.
Differences:
There are two types of demons, two species in their own right, those reclusive and those directly related to humans.
The diversity is expressed by the fact that they do not all respect their respective characteristics. Horns can be added, their tail can change.

The first generation , the oldest, more bestial, primal, experiences few emotions, is more apt for madness and denies the existence of the second generation.

Weres are humans capable of transforming into an animal.
They can transform at will according to their energy.
Description :
There are all kinds of Weres. But each associated animal is human-sized (there is no were-mouse or were-whale, for example). If the animal is bigger or smaller, the human adapts and will too.
There are no herbivorous werewolves, omnivores are rare.
The most well-known werewolves are wolves, leopards and sharks. Within each "category" there are several subspecies (for sharks: lemon sharks, tiger sharks, and so on).
Processing:
Weres are humans who can transform at will into their animal form.
They must alternate their change of forms cyclically. The goal is to maintain this balance, to establish a routine. (8 human days/8 animal days, 20 human hours/4 animal hours) Transforming occasionally does not affect this balance.
Frequent exchange of forms is bad for them, it uses a lot of energy.
Weres receive an education so that they can be fulfilled in their transformations. They learn to transform themselves, to control themselves, to set up their schedules and respect them, etc.
Despite everything, they will be influenced by the moon, which benefits those who have not received an education). The fuller the moon, the more their bodies will want to change shape to maintain balance. It is at the full moon that the uneducated are obligatorily transformed. They return to their other form when their body has regained its balance.
Forcing them to remain in one form for too long is torture for them.
Mushroom-Men

Mushroom men are sturdy people, mushrooms grow on their bodies.
This people is known to men, it arouses curiosity, but few are those who have managed to contact them.

Description :
The mushroom men hence their name have mushrooms on their bodies, they are partly composed of them.
Each individual has their own unique species of poisonous or even deadly fungus. Their first name is defined as follows.

Their skin (kind of mucus), their hair (mushroom roots) and obviously the fungi growing on them are poisonous.

Customs:

It was in the north of the continent that they found refuge, in the most empty, coldest and most mountainous region.
The extreme conditions allowed this small people to evolve into mushroom people. Over the centuries, natural selection has pushed these men to have poisonous or even deadly mushrooms.
Thus humans, animals and others cannot approach them because of their dangerousness.
There are 8 large villages, these are made up of chalets, a watercourse or even several, a washhouse, a thermal spring and a bathtub in each building.
Community :
Each village is run by a family.
There is no money, only a barter system.
The trades are very basic: weavers, loggers, fishermen, hunters and gatherers. They lead a simple life, without pollution, without waste, without technology. They are very close to nature, protect their environment.
They are peaceful and accept foreigners under certain conditions, to avoid any serious accident.
If there are conflicts (often with humans), they know how to defend themselves very well apart from their toxicity. A small group of sentinels is formed in each hamlet, often a family to whom this role has been bequeathed and passed on from generation to generation.

No, eating mushrooms is not cannibalism.
They have a normal diet, only local.
Tears
Characters: Helios
The Tears are a people who can see the future and are subject to the cycle of the moon.
A people who originally bathed in one of the magical sanctuaries (floating islands that washed ashore in the sea), over the centuries they evolved into a distinct species.
They are now scattered all over the continent. Previously thought of as deities, they are now just a forgotten legend. A people normally extinct and now unknown.

Attention, this is purely symbolic, it is not the angels who created them. The only connection with the angels is their former territory which belonged to them.
The tears of angels are a metaphor for islands falling from the sky.
Description :
Each individual has odd eyes: one is white with a black pupil and the other is black with a white pupil. In today's mores, having odd eyes is synonymous with the devil, this belief is at the origin of the fear towards the People of Tears.
They also have a perfect circle drawn which is formed somewhere on their body.
These two aspects betray their membership (especially the white pupil which is unique to the species and difficult to reproduce).

At night, their circle fills with black, they only see with their black eye. Some of them can then see into the future.

They try to survive separately, their power being very precious. They are forbidden to use it, to talk about their people, their special characteristics. Only a few texts and words are transmitted from generation to generation. If they make a child with a normal human, the child will fully receive the characteristics of the Tear parent.
Birth time does not matter. The cycle of the moon meanwhile, yes. The fuller the moon, the more magic the person born at that time will have. If the moon is special (red moon, super moon, etc.), it will have even more magic.
